Forbidden Fruit
I bit the Apple.
In fact I tasted all of the fruit.
At first I was skeptical, timid, but most importantly innocent.
I knew not what I was getting into.
I put trust into the wrong hands.
The same hand that pulled me up, pushed me right back down.
We climbed - oh did we climb. Higher and higher.
It became thrilling, exhilarating, and forbidden.
I was barren and you filled me with life - literally.
I was finally living for more than just myself.
But I gave it all up, for you. I would do anything for you. Weak men clinch to women like me. Naive but confident as all hell with the strength of 1,000 men. And, prouder than any mother.
Mother please pray for me, your child. I am just a child. Lost in this big world filled with demons posing as angels. Lucifer, you’ve done well but I shall flourish.
